Quick and Easy Boho Arrow Pillow DIY

This is Vintage Renewal's third challenge in the Cricut competition to become the next "Design Space Star" sponsored by Cricut.

Today's D.I.Y. is super-easy, using a Cricut Explore Machine!  This is for contest, three, out of four, for The Cricut Design Space Star competition.  I hope you enjoy the quick and easy Boho styling!

Materials:

Step One:

Click here to get the design from the Cricut Design Space.  Follow instructions for printing Iron-On on a 12 x 12 Cricut Mat.

  • Place Cricut Iron-on sheet, liner side down, onto Cricut Cutting Mat.
  • Adjust your machine settings according to the Iron-On Guide. You will need to re-insert the mat as many times as the machine prompts you in order to cut entirely through the Iron-On.
  • Size and select the image you want to cut.  Be sure to flip all images prior to cutting so they appear backwards (mirror image).
  • Load mat into the machine and cut images.

Step Two:

  • Remove negative Cricut Iron-On film, leaving only the desired image on the liner.
  • Set your iron to the Cotton/Linen setting and make sure the steam is off.
  • Use the iron to pre-heat the pillow cover for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Place the image, liner side up, onto the pre-heated material. Apply medium pressure with the iron for 25 to 30 seconds.
  • Flip the pillow case over and apply medium pressure with the iron to the back of the material for an additional 25 - 30 seconds.
  • Let cool.  Remove lining.

Step Three:

  • Style your new pillows and enjoy!
